Quality childcare/Bachelor's degree in child development/27 years experience working with Children. CPR & First Aid Our Family School believes in providing hands on experiences with creative materials and enhanced environments that encourage each child to explore and experiment with things he/she sees and is familiar with. We will provide developmentally appropriate curriculum and materials for children to learn through play. Play is the way children learn to develop their physical growth, emotional, social, creativity and intellectual with mutual respect. Each child will be able to make choices, feel competent, build his/her self-esteem, solve problems and interact with others. Children learn by exploring and experiencing their own environment. Our Family School provides each child with a variety of experiences using creative, challenging, meaningful and familiar materials to stimulate the learning and social interaction. Care Provider/teacher can build a strong foundation for children's future growth and learning by creating the program that promotes feelings of competence and self-worth. Children acquire knowledge about the world they live in through playful interaction with objects, peers and adults. Older children, who are more able to manipulate and explore their own environment, acquire new skills and experiences that facilitate the learning process to develop their maturation and help them understand other people's point of view. Children learn through play as they touch, explore, manipulate and experiment with materials and interact with people. Setting the rich experiences in early childhood can benefit children for their physical growth and learning. We provide the curriculum that meets the interests and different needs of each individual child; supports and concerns their physical abilities; promotes feelings of competence, secure, being comfortable, love, acceptance, respect and self-worth; encourages them to express feelings, solve problems, be creative and social interact with people; and teaches children to value diversity. We will encourage family involvement by giving them support, being trustworthy, comforting and respectful; understand each child's family individually; and be flexible and a resource to them. Children are able to build trust and feel comfortable with the teacher when they see the providers/teachers and parents or other family members work together and have good relationships.
