Hi there! I have been nannying for five years now, and working with children is what I really love to do. So, to introduce myself: I'm Charlotte Wiltshire, 22 and a recent college graduate with an honors dual degree in literature and creative writing, and a minor in music from the University of San Francisco. I love to sing, read, and laugh. I have worked full time for two different families while in San Francisco, and two families in East Hampton, which is where I am originally from! I have worked with children between the ages of newborn and 13, both boys and girls. Most recently, I worked for a family of two adopted girls who were really adorable and amazing and it was so hard to leave, but I ended up moving home to save money and eventually move to New York City. I am extremely careful, no detail goes unchecked. I was an ocean lifeguard for two years and a pool lifeguard for two years prior to that, so I am very calm in a crisis and I have a lot of experience in CPR, AED, and general first aid. I am looking for a consistent nannying job to build a relationship with the kids and the family! Working with kids is something that I have never thought not to do. I think having a good nanny is essential and I always do everything I can to make life fun and exciting and educational for the children I look after. Whether it's choreographing dances, playing sports, swimming, being silly, reading stories over and over, coming up with inventive and colorful bedtime stories and songs, helping with manners, homework, and speech, or just generally treating children like they matter and they are important and they are heard; I always do it to the best of my ability – there is no other way.
