I am a 25 year old recent graduate of Georgian College's Child and Youth Care Program. I have 10 years experience working with children ages 1-14 years old in recreational settings. I am committed to meeting children where they are at and providing a caring, supportive role in their lives. I have experience and education working with children with disabilities and am able to adjust my approach appropriately to each child's needs. I taught recreational classes to children aged 1- 14 for the City of London for 4 years (dance, cooking, preschool, etc. ), as well as working the City's camps during the summers as an inclusion counsellor. Most recently, I have been an inclusion coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club and a support worker through VON for children aged 6 - 12 with various disabilities. Recent graduate of the Child and Youth Care program, with training in first aid, CPR, and special needs child care.
