I have over ten years babysitting and teaching experience. I spent three summers volunteering at a local VBS as a youth assistant before being promoted to a lead teacher after my consistent recommendations from parents of the children attending VBS. I have also spent two years tutoring math and science courses, with a focus on statistics, to local college students. I am available to watch children of any age and can provide transportation to and from school or other extracurricular activities as needed. The youngest child I've ever cared for was only 6 months of age, and I have experience babysitting multiple sets of twins. (They are always a handful!) I also have experience teaching children how to swim, and without speaking each other's language, no less! I volunteered for a few months at the end of 2016 in Mozambique, teaching children about marine life and swimming lessons were included as part of our teachings. As far as pet care, I am able to care for various wildlife. I currently share custody of a dachshund puppy with my boyfriend and have helped care for a total of 4 cats, all at one time. I have no qualms about caring for more exotic animals, if needed, and have helped rescue abandoned/injured birds and turtles. I can also assist with some light housekeeping and gardening as needed while house sitting for you.
