Hi, everybody! My name is Daijah DeForge. I'm a teenager looking to start babysitting more full-time this summer so I have started my own business if you will called Rent-A-Sitter. I have many younger cousins who I've watched over the years and I am about to start working at my church's nursery. I am also am a certified babysitter by the Red Cross and I know baby and adult CPR. For a teenager, I think I have many qualifications but not much hands on experience with children who aren't related to me because I am very focused on my school work and have had straight A's for as long as I can remember. I also offer tutoring to younger children in elementary and middle school on any subject needed. I have taken all the way up to Math I so I can tutor in quite a bit of math. I have taken my SAT's already as a practice and I've worked with Duke University last summer so I couldn't babysit then either. I can also watch pets and I have a dog of my own. My prices for babysitting start at $10 an hour and go up $1.50 an hour for extra children. Tutoring is also $10 an hour per each child. For pet sitting and walking it starts at $5. I would love to start babysitting and tutoring as soon as possible because this is becoming a passion of mine and that is why I'm throwing so much of myself into this. It's a bit hard to spread the word of something like this down here in Raleigh. After school ends, I will be able to babysit a lot more during the week! I want to services as many families as possible to make it easier on them and hopefully make them a regular family. I also have my own transportation and can go a fairly large distance outside of my area. I understand the Raleigh and Wake County are both huge areas and babysitters are need everywhere! I am also very good with children who take medications or have medical problems because I myself suffer from chronic migraines and asthma. If you want a sitter who really care about your children and can relate to them very well, I think I would be a great option!
