My name is Joseph Funderburk. I am a responsible adult father of three young boys, and I am great with children. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Child Development and am pursuing a Master's Degree in Counseling. I also have experience as a substitute teacher at Horizon Christian Academy. I am most interested in childcare opportunities that will allow me to keep my youngest son of age three with me while providing direct attentive care other children in need of a good example. It is my philosophy that children benefit most from consistent, responsive, sensitive care-giving, and it is our responsibility as adults to provide just that. I also have a car and driver's license, so I am perfectly capable to transporting children (and adults) to school, appointments, and other activities. I recently put my career on hold for the benefit of my roles as a father, a husband, and a follower of Christ. Allow me to help you make the most of your many roles as well.
