Hello Moms and Dads! My name is Maxxine. I am a 22 year old, female college student. I have received my A.A. in Psychology from Merced College and will be transferring to CSU Long Beach (to pursue a B.A. in Social Work) after summer but would love to spend the rest of the summer doing what I love -teaching, encouraging, and helping children. I have much experience with children as I have worked in an afterschool program (teaching fellows foundation) as a tutor as well as in childcare for afterschool programs- through Assets. I have also worked as a teacher's instructional aide at Grace Bishop School where I dealt with many children with behavior issues. Through all of this experience one of the most important things I have learned is that in order to inspire children you must first build solid and meaningful rapport with them.
