Sitter in Woodbury, Connecticut

Hi everyone! My name is Beth Mieczkowski, and I would love to be a care provider this summer. Most of my schedule is free except for Tuesdays-Thursdays until 5pm due to a summer internship at Platt Brothers in Waterbury, CT. A little bit about me... I am about to graduate from Nonnewaug High School at the top of my class, and will be attending Cornell in the fall. I always love to give homework help and read/engage children in meaningful conversations. In addition to strong academic achievement, I have participated in numerous extracurriculars and community service programs which provide me with the skills necessary to be a good babysitter. I have participated in community musical theater since I was 5, and I love to play dress up or put on little shows with kids! In addition, I have volunteered with Curtain Call Kids, a children's theater set in Middlebury, for the last 6 years with over 300 hours, enabling me to calm children down in times of stress and have fun regardless. I have participated in Robotics, Debate, NHS, SNHS, art programs, and more, many with leadership positions, demonstrating my high levels of responsibility as well as strong work ethic. I volunteer with CPR Dog Shelter in Southbury, which means I am the perfect candidate for any families with pets! Although I have another internship this summer with a zinc manufacturing company, I am looking for this additional employment in order to save some money for college tuition and fees. Any job offers would be greatly appreciated- believe me, babysitting is not only rewarding but very entertaining for someone who loves children as much as me! I have my own transportation, and I love board games, arts and crafts, movies, Legos, reading, and much more. I am a very strong swimmer if there is ever a pool involved, and I am certified by the Red Cross in First Aid and CPR. I can also cook and do light house cleaning, and my hours are flexible.
