ABOUT ME : My Name is Gabriela, I was born in Colombia and I came to Canada in 2009, I learned English really fast and I speak it fluently. I am the oldest of three kids, I have two younger brothers and that has made me very responsible because I have to set a good example for them. I am also very family oriented and I will always put my family first. I am very enthusiastic, caring, reliable and fun. I love children and I have always loved to work with them. I enjoy going outside to the park and just explore nature, I believe its a very good environment for everyone. I also enjoy exploring new things and learning something new everyday. WORK EXPERIENCE : I have 6 years of experience. I have worked with kids from 2 months to about 5 years old, my first babysitting job was about 4 years ago babysitting 10 month old twins and a 2 year old and I did that for about a year.. I have also worked with 2 month old baby and a 4 year old.. my most recent one was my baby cousin, he was 7 months when I started and I pretty much lived with them for 4 months on a trip I made to Colombia and I took care of him a lot. I did the Canadian Red Cross babysitting course and CPR training. I have a clean police background check if you need to also see that. I took several child development course in high school for 4 years where we had to work with a toddler for the whole semester. I consider myself a very responsible and reliable person and I believe I am well fitted for the job. I took a year off studying to travel and work so this is why I am looking for a job right now and I will be free full time from now until September since I will start studying then. My main priority is to keep the child safe and happy at all times. Since I am young I have a lot of energy and I do not get tired easily, I love what I do, I know I will be taking care of the most important persons in your life therefore I will take care of them the way you would as a parent.
