Sitter in Blacksburg, Virginia

I'm Lotte, a GTA and grad student at Tech. I've been babysitting here for about nine months, and currently regularly look after a two-year-old boy (I was watching him all day three days a week for a couple of months before the summer, now I'm occasional help), a five-year-old boy, and a three-month-old baby girl. In the past I've looked after a toddler for a summer in a live-in capacity, as well as all the usual babysitting for friends and neighbours back in the UK when I was at school and undergrad. I love looking after kids, and have worked in museum education with young children in the past (this is all about active learning, learning through play, etc) and have also taught creative writing to older kids (I'm at school for poetry). I'm a responsible and caring person, and I can also provide references from the parents of the kids I watch in the local area. I don't have a car in Blacksburg, so unfortunately I can only get to homes that are reachable by public transport/foot/bike. My schedule is largely pretty flexible, so I'll often be available at short notice and even during weekdays sometimes, as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
