Sitter in Deerfield Beach, Florida

Hi. I've recently moved to Florida and am looking for work. I haven't worked in the childcare field, beyond caring for my own child and friends' kids as a favor, for about 20 years. But you don't lose the skills, right? I started caring for children at age 12 and was a live-in nanny for 2 families - 1 in KC, MO (3 kids ages 9 mos to 4) and one in Princeton, NJ (2 kids - 1 and 4). I then went to law school. I worked as an attorney for abused and neglected children and as an investigator for elder abuse, in addition to other jobs. I like pets and have a dog and cat. If my child had his way our home would be a zoo. I am not a licensed attorney in Florida so am having a tougher time than I thought I would getting a job here. All my job offers have been to work for free which doesn't work for me. I have my own car. I am willing to take first aid and infant/child CPR, as I have in the past, but they are not up to date. I am willing to do light house keeping and food preparation. I can even run errands, if need be. I only speak English. Thanks for your consideration.
