My name is Izzy and I'm 20 years old, and currently attending the University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in Psychology. I love children, and have had over 8 years of babysitting and nannying experience. I have worked as a teachers assistant for 1st-3rd graders, as well as a lifeguard, where I taught children ages 2-12 how to swim. I have siblings of my own ranging from ages 2-16, so I have done my fair share of child rearing. I love arts and crafts, reading, and photography. The most important thing to me when taking care of children is stimulation of their imaginations with games and crafts, rather than focusing on television or technology. Its so pertinent for kids to learn the importance of using their creativity, especially in our technologically advanced world where even some infants are already fully knowledgable on how to work an iPhone!
