Hello! my name is Alexa. I am a 26 year old social service worker graduate originally from Niagara Falls Canada. I am a responsible, patient, caring and energetic individual who adores children. I have been caring for children since I was 10-12 years old. I enjoy cooking/baking, making crafts, being outdoors and am very easy to get along with. I adore animals and have 2 cats, and two dogs back home in Niagara. I am originally from Niagara Falls, Ontario. I come from a big Italian family who loves to cook and am very close with them. I graduated from Fanshawe College in London Ontario in 2018 and studied social service work. I worked at a local women and childrens shelter as a residential counsellor and was a group facilitator for a children group for children who had witnessed and experienced abuse. Furthermore, before covid I was employed with the YMCA in the child care centres as a child care provider. I have had the privilege of working with children of various ages, from newborns to toddlers and beyond. My commitment to fostering their physical, emotional, and intellectual development has always been crucial to me and my work. I firmly believe in creating a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes learning and exploration, while also ensuring their safety and well-being. It has been my dream to work with kids for as long as I can remember, and caring for others is something I am passionate about, which is why I went into the social work field and why I think I would be a great fit for your family.
