My name is Alissa and I am a rising senior at Vanderbilt University. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old and absolutely love children! I have experience from infants to a family of 6 to working with children with disabilities. At school, I have volunteered at the children's hospital, was a weekly volunteer at an after school program where I assisted with homework help and a reading program, and recently lead a service trip to New Hampshire where I worked in a classroom with children with disabilities. I am also a Head Resident at Vanderbilt where I am responsible for one of our freshman houses and have two other resident advisors on my staff as well being responsible for 100 freshman. I thoroughly enjoy caring for children and meeting the various needed of families! I encourage learning and discovery and am open to creative ways to engage and entertain children.
