Sitter in Los Angeles, California

I have two younger brothers (who are now 13 and 18 years old) that I took care of ever since I was small. I grew up in a suburban neighborhood in Connecticut and became the go-to babysitter until I left for college. During my time in CT I regularly took care of twins, a young child with epilepsy, a group of three very active children, and a 6-month-old baby. All of these diverse experiences allowed me to gain a great deal of insight as to how to deal with certain types of kids. My favorite part of babysitting is being able to play with the children, inside or outside. For my Connecticut families I would bring over a giant bag of craft materials for the children to dig into. I love listening to kids tell stories - they have such amazing perspectives! I love kids of all ages and am very responsible. I'm new to the Los Angeles area and very excited to plant roots here.
