I have always enjoyed being around children. I have experience in child care from taking care of my younger sister, to watching a friends baby on occasion, and have approximately 50 hours working with preschool aged children at a local daycare. I am extremely responsible, a straight A student, and I will ensure children in my care remain safe and secure at all times. I am certified in CPR, the Heimlich Maneuver and general first aid. I am currently enrolled in the health assisting program at Northeast Vocational High School and truly enjoy caring for others, especially children. The experience I have received from various health/education programs are extremely beneficial towards reaching my goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I am very friendly, approachable, fun, outgoing, and confident in my skills caring for children of various ages. I enjoy having a good time, but am also very good at keeping appropriate boundaries and will enforce all rules and guidelines given by parents.
