Hi! My name is Roxana Martinez and I love kids. They are a joy but I know that they can be difficult at times because I have two nieces of my own and a baby nephew I have a hand in taking care of on a daily basis. They are a handful but I know how to talk to them and entertain them. They love me! When my nieces come home from school they always talk to me about their day and ask for help with their homework because they know I am there for whatever they need. My nephew can't talk yet but actions speak louder than words for him. He always smiles when I'm around and my voice soothes him when he's cranky. I guess it's because I'm constantly playing with him since he can walk now so I have to keep an eye out for him and make sure he doesn't get into anything! Their parents love me too and not just because I'm their sister. They always call me first out of my 4 other siblings whenever they need a sitter because their kids love me and they can trust me to keep their kids safe. My nieces specifically ask for me as their sitter whenever they need one. I know my nieces and nephews personally and I know their habits. I also know each kid is different so I know it is important to get to know them and mold to their needs.
