Hey - I'm Nicolle Mulhare! I will be 23 this April and am currently in school for an Associate's in Early Childhood Education. Most of my experience is with children between 1 and 3 years of age. I have lived most of my life in Arizona, however I spent this past year in Dallas, Texas with my (now) 2 year old niece. In the past year, I have had the pleasure to babysit her and her BFF among working full-time. Now that I am back in Arizona, I am looking for any and all opportunities to move forward in my teaching career. I have an FBI background check available (had to get it for school), references, and will be obtaining my First Aid/CPR certification in April 2018. I am available PT only. GOALS My short-term goals are to get my foot in the door in the teaching industry. Eventually, I want to end up on the east coast teaching either middle school or high school. If possible, I am looking for a family who does not mind allowing me to use my observations of their children in my schoolwork (as always, for security purposes, names of children must be changed). ]] EXPERIENCE Apart from (most recently) babysitting my niece and her friend, I have worked in many positions. I have worked in restaurants (both sit-down and fast food), security (as a security guard for concerts and events), office settings (working with foreclosed houses), and retail (at lowe's hardware store). HOBBIES My hobbies include taking care of my own miniature zoo, music (I have a guitar, ukelele, piano, and quena), cooking, hiking, DIY projects, and reading. I have a lot of experience taking care of a household as well as a variety of animals, so any additional work needed in your house is doable! I am willing to run errands, go grocery shopping, get your mail, walk your dogs, come over first thing in the morning to make you coffee, picking up/dropping off your kids to school, making breakfast/dinner, send hourly updates, etc. COMMUNICATION I make it a point to be organized, have good communication, and be on-time. I believe that children should not be sat in front of a television monitor all day and that playtime is super important. Every Moment Is A Learning Opportunity! Normally when babysitting, I have arts and crafts ready, my musical instruments out, books available, or day activities planned such as going to the zoo or the park.
