Hi! My name is Jennifer. I am a 39 year-old, married mom of three looking for a position with a special family in Henderson or nearby areas of Las Vegas, but I will travel throughout the valley if we are a great match. I absolutely love babies and children and am looking for full time hours. I have my own dependable transportation, and will submit to and pass even the most extensive background check. I was formally a flight attendant and was certified and re-trained in CPR every year. I also have a daughter who was born with a birth defect and am very comfortable and skilled in the care of a child with special needs or health concerns. I am seeking a position with a family with an infant or young child/children in your home so they grow and learn with me in a familiar environment. I am comfortable doing light housework or running errands, but will be focused on your child 100 Unfortunately, I cannot work in a home with dogs or cats due to severe allergies. I have extensive experience in child care, and am certified by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in Early Childhood Education. I believe, and research proves, that babies begin to learn from the time they are in the womb and I lovingly talk, teach, explore and sing to even the youngest babies so their brain is active and storing information that they will build upon and begin to access as they grow. All of this will just be a natural part of our time together because I'm not just all about learning. I truly love children and that will always be my guide so their hearts stay happy, and they always feel loved. Throughout the day, I will establish a regular schedule If you don't already have one. We will play and interact while working on fine and gross motor skills. We will read books and talk about the things we see and do to build language familiarity and establish the building blocks to help your baby talk and read at a very early age. I will always be hands-on and focused on your little one so they are safe and stay well, and they will be my priority at all times. I have three children of my own, and have cared for other's little ones in a day care setting, at church, and in my home. My kids are older now, and so I am available all week and for the occasional date night. If you have a very young child, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave them in someone else's hands for the first time. During the time when I was a flight attendant, I was also a single mom so I needed to leave my children with a Nanny for 2 1/2 days at a time. I definitely know how difficult it is to find a trustworthy, honest, dependable, hard-working and involved person to leave your most valuable precious ones with while you're away.
