I am a retired nurse. Miss loving & taking care of others. I feel child care begins in love for children. I think a child's play is important to explore the world around them. Children need a structured environment. Learning should be fun...finding ways to want learning a challenge. Children need time outside to enjoy what a beautiful world is just outside their door. For younger children I feel reading is important. Reading to children allows them to use their imagination & explore other places. Children should be respected & taught respect others.
