Overview: Starting in my early teens, I've had a considerable amount of experience caring for children, including those with special needs. I've cared for my adopted brother, who has cerebral palsy and also for a 3-year-old child that we fostered in the past who has multiple disabilities. I have also cared numerous times for a family with 3 children under the age of 5, but am willing to care for up to the age of 11. Honesty is my most valuable policy and I am committed to caring for your children as though they were my own siblings and earning their and your approval and trust. I currently study Rehabilitation and Disability Services (Pre-Occupational Therapy) as well as Philosophy at Northern Illinois University and have a 3.9 GPA. This summer, I am looking for an assignment where I could care for children in my own home, as I am home with my mother for the summer and do not yet have a car.
