Sitter in New York, New York

I have always been surrounded by children being the second oldest of 8 children and coming from a big family, the youngest being 3. I have always helped with the kids and babysit for my mother when she needs me to. I love children but particularly toddlers because they are so energetic, they are so affectionate, and full of wonder. This is a stage where they learn so fast, its exciting to teach toddlers because they are so eager to learn. I have taken care of my siblings and worked with children in Kindergarten in my job for the Child Center of New York as well as for Phipps Neighborhoods. I have worked in community centers with children ages 5-10. They are of school age so basically I helped them with their homework and worked on ways to keep them motivated through fun educational games and activities. I worked as a volunteer for a children's occupational therapy clinic. The clinic's name was SPOTS, I worked there as a volunteer shadowing the children's occupational therapist for almost a year and watching their set course of treatment. I have references, and I attended York College. I'm also a native Spanish speaker!
