Hi!!! I'm a part-time nanny and mom. I have an amazing 14mo boy who I would like to bring along if it's not an issue(Born Aug 2nd, 2018.) He is healthy and up-to-date on vaccines. I am also up-to-date on vaccines. He has come along with me to every job; on his 2nd birthday we are looking into starting daycare. Although I have not completed my degree, I have completed two years as a Child Development major. I decided to take a break from school to focus on my son and to gain more experience in my desired field. Aside from being a new mom, I have been babysitting/nannying for all ages from infant to school age since I was 13yo(now 25yo). I am well aware of younger children's needs (from schooling and experience) such as developmentally appropriate play and toys, following a routine set by parents or child-led, medications, and proper breastmilk handling if necessary. I have completed 48 monitored hours in a preschool through college courses and implemented multiple lesson plans outside of the monitored hours in other preschools for children 2-5/6yo. Since I'm taking a break from school right now, I'm keeping my mind sharp by continuing to create lesson plans in my free time to expand my portfolio and work with all ages for more experience. My favorite subject is music. My son loves to dance and "sing" so we have dance parties every day which is great for all ages. I also add on body-centered and nature based activities. For a newborn, I make certain to incorporate baby exercises and time outside if the weather permits. I am currently a nanny to a 3yo boy and a 5mo girl(with my son, of course), I have been with this family since mid-July 2019. I love the family and watching the children grow each day, but I would like to fill my available days with an additional family. Most importantly I simply love children. I hope to open my own child care facility one day. Until then, I look forward to working with you. *CPR/FIRST AID recently expired due to an unexpected move, renewal in progress. I can renew before the start date if preferred. *I'm also available on some weekends or for occasional/short hours for "Mommy's Helper" care (just keeping an eye on the child while the parent takes time to themselves or time to deep clean, cook, or go to appointments/meetings) Please contact me for more details about my experience
