Sitter in Lucama, North Carolina

I am a stay at home mommy and I babysit from my home. I babysat a lot years ago, then went to college and joined the workforce. I worked in an office for over twenty years... but left when I became a mom so I could be home and raise our little girl. We are a close-knit and dedicated Christian family. We wanted to be sure our little girl was brought up and cared for in a safe and Godly environment...free from a lot of the liberal ideas our there today. We have a large home, out in the country... and lots of room for the kids to run through the house and play. Our seven year old daughter and two year old (adopted) son really enjoy having other children over to play with. They are both very engaging and affectionate children...adventuresome and inquisitive... with very happy and friendly personalities. I have two families I've worked for over the past seven years.. three children, all since they were infants. (Infants are my absolute favorite age group!) Now, the last of their children are heading to Kindergarten, so I'm looking to fill their spots. During the time they have been with me, I have worked with them on preschool/pre-K educational activities... right along with my daughter who I homeschool. I also have kept several other children on a temporary or occasional basis since we've been at this location. We are a licensed NC foster home and are required to keep current in on-going training and CPR/first aid certifications. I do prefer to babysit from here in my home.
