Hello! My name is Emily and I am 26 years old. I moved to Charlotte, NC from New York where I lived for about 18 years. I relocated to Charlotte for my very first teaching job. I currently teach first grade and am about to complete my second year. I graduated with an Associate's Degree in 2010 and I went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2012. After beginning substitute teaching, I went on to earn a Master's Degree in Literacy education. While working to earn a Master's Degree, I continued substitute teaching as well as working part time at a local CVS/Pharmacy. I completed the Master's Program in May 2015. Throughout the years, I was a neighborhood babysitter for local families. I had full time summer nanny jobs as well as occasional babysitting jobs on nights and weekends. I am CPR certified as well as AED and First Aid Certified. I have experience with epipens as well as inhalers. I drive a 4 door sedan that can safely seat three passengers in the back. I have a clean driving record and have been in no accidents.
