Hi, My name is Ali. I am 27-years-old and seeking parents in need of summer care for their children. I currently nanny full-time, but will be available at the end of this school year. I have an 8-year-old son whom will spend the summer with me as well. I am hoping to provide childcare in my own home, but am also open to coming to your home if preferred. I will have Bachelor's Degree come May, with a minor in The Foundations of Education. I had planned on becoming an elementary teacher, completing all my semesters, even into student teaching, but decided I would rather work with children as a nanny or babysitter. My love for children and teaching has not changed, but I was not enjoying the stressors and demands of the traditional classroom, as many other teachers are facing nowadays. I love being outside, playing sports, trying crafts and activities from Pinterest, and am a very active and engaged with the children I care for. I also have a three-row Ford Flex which allows me to take children to local, fun places like libraries, parks (Potato Creek is a favorite of mine), and the zoo. I am always looking for fun, engaging ways to keep my own son entertained and aim to do with any children I care for.
