The House of Diamonds Dance Studio has a summer camp offered to kids ages 5-16. The Summer Camp will run from June 15th through August 28, 2015, Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm. During this time students will learn various styles of dance combined with Majorette dance. Students will receive conditioning, learn proper stretch techniques, exercising, routines, participate in performances, field trips and more. The ideal instructor will be contracted for the duration of the camp. This individual will have dance experience, be able to teach various disciplines, experience working with children, the ability to counsel kids having social issues during camp hours, etc. The dance camp instructor shounld be able to supervise Intern Counselors and Camp Counselors In Training by leading a weekly meeting to go over what campers will learn for the week, what techniques the Interns and Trainees will work on with the campers in small groups, etc.
