Sitter in Houma, Louisiana

My name is Morgan Deroche, I am 19 years old, and I am home for the summer from college in Hattiesburg, MS. I love working with kids of all ages and I have been babysitting for about 8 years. I am available for the majority of summer, with an exception of three weekends, until the second week of August. I can be of service at any time, whether it be while the parents or guardians are at work or having a night to themselves. I am willing to stay over night or for an extended period of time. I find when I take care of other people's children, we get along well and I can usually reason with them. I have had to babysit children who were not very cooperative, but with patience, it normally works out for the best. When babysitting I tend to keep the children occupied as much as I can to ensure they don't get themselves into any trouble. I also don't bend the parents' rules to do what the child wants. I don't like to discipline other people's children, but sometimes the time-out chair is necessary. Along with children, I can also take care of pets. I can make sure to tend to their every need while the owner is away. Along with caring for children and pets, I am willing to straighten up and clean the house. Cleaning the dishes, washing, folding, and picking up laundry, sweeping, moping, vacuuming, and dusting are just a few general things I don't mind doing while watching the children or pets. If there are any certain tasks that need to be accomplished, such as organizing, I would be more than happy to do that as well. Only if I am asked to, I won't clean the house for the sake of someone feeling uncomfortable with it.
