I'm experienced in all manner of caregiving all ages and dealing with kids with special needs who are struggling with just learning the most rudimentary levels of understanding their mealtime somewhat orderly and clean, playing nicely, going to the bathroom by themselves [whether verbal or not], learning at least some level of their numbers and letters, and more. Done tons of it as a regular substitute teacher and aide with all manner of child from pre-K through vocational education trainees going into simple jobs bagging groceries. As for elders, I've had both my father and mother under my fulltime in-home care for a total of eight years between the two of them prior to passing (1999-20... and then 2008-201...). The toughest was my late brother who suffered from bipolar disorder (roomed with him 1990-92,..., and 2009-201...: you can tell much about bipolar by noting those three stints he had with me in my home. Bipolar folks just get so restless, but I am good at dealing with them after his travials. Much more on top of this, including a fondness for household pets...they can be like babies themseloves---or like the bosses of the household!
