Sitter in Sherwood Park, Alberta

We are situated in Glen Allen, very close to the Sherwood Park Mall and Glen Allen Park. We are a very active family. We ride our bikes or walk to the park EVERY morning to walk our Labrador retriever. There are five different playgrounds within waking distance that we go to. Having more kids to join on our fun adventures would be great! We also venture on foot/bike to nearby places such as the spray deck, mall and library. Some days we jump on the bus for fun and go somewhere new, just for fun! Strathcona county runs awesome fun factory days at festival place every summer which we take part in. We are always going somewhere and keeping busy. Being a teacher I believe in learning through play, therefore I encourage educational activities. Doing an art project, science experiment, and practicing literacy are all things we do. I also believe routine and consistency is fundamental to a child's well being. I have planted a garden in our large fenced backyard, therefore your child would get to share in the learning, nurturing and harvesting of heathy vegetables. If your child is requiring tutoring, this could be discussed. My hours would be 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday (excluding statutory holidays). My rate is depends on age, therefore would be discussed. If you need irregular child care, we could work out a daily rate. I will also provide your child with breakfast, lunch and two snacks.
