My name is BriAnne Moline. I am 28 years old and have been a preschool teacher for 5 years. I was born and raised here in Missoula. I will be receiving my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Montana Western in May of this year. I am also the mother of a 6 year old son and a 4 month old son who are the lights of my life and have taught me most of the hardest lessons I have learned about and do as an early childhood educator. I have experience working with all age groups from birth to age 12 professionally as a preschool teacher over the past 6 years and for nearly 20 years general child care. My passion is young children's development and learning; I am just fascinated with how they naturally make connections about their world through play and interactions with their environment. I have a basic understanding of the Spanish language and I am constantly developing it for my professional development and work with my son who is going to the Spanish Immersion School. I believe that children learn to their fullest potential in loving and safe environments with the guidance of caring, attentive and thoughtful adults who provide fun and challenging hands-on/concrete learning moments and activities. I'm a strong advocate for getting out in nature and being physically active as much as possible, eliminating TV and electronic time in lieu of the beautiful world we have around us to interact with and learn from. I believe in the philosophy of natural consequences, giving children choices to amend their actions, and the innate goodness of children. I am comfortable with housework, errands, transporting children to play dates/appointments/events, caring for pets, potty training is something that I specialize in, making learning plans to help your child develop skills and further their education, cooking, laundry, you name it I'm pretty open to anything.
