Good day moms and dads! When life gives you lemons...make lemonade. So that is what we have decided to do. Our lemonade stand will open January 2015 and right now we are accepting applications for 5 full time children ages 18 months to 5 years. We are in the McLeod, Matt Berry, North of Londonderry Mall area. Approx 153 Ave 66 St. Our dayhome is unique as we have 2 FULL TIME CAREGIVERS!, which will allow for less "sick" days or closed days, as well as more one on one activities. Mrs. Avery has her level 1 childcare, CPR, First aid, and is a former preschool teacher for the YMCA. She has nannied 5 children and worked in an inner city daycare. Basically she loves children! Mrs Amy has her Educational Assistant Certificate and has worked for EPSB with special needs children, as well as driven school bus for 5 years. Basically she loves a challenge! Both have clear criminal records check. Our goal is to offer a preschool structured setting for the morning time, and engaging free play for the afternoon. Children are never too young to enjoy learning in a fun, structured, and encouraging preschool setting. We will provide breakfast (if needed) snacks, and a hot lunch. We have a big back yard as well as a park with in walking distance. Our hours are from 6 am-6 pm,Monday to Friday; That way we can still have time to be with our loved ones in the evening and get a good nights sleep for the next busy day. Please note: There is no subsidy available, I do however provide receipts. We are also a pet friendly day home with 2 small dogs and 2 birds.
