Sitter in Annapolis, Maryland

Hi!! Now that you are viewing me I would love to introduce myself! My name is Destiny Colon, I am currently residing in Annapolis, MD. I have an English Labrador, Napa and a younger brother! Education: I recently graduated from Annapolis High School this past June with not only a high school diploma, but also from The International Baccalaureate program. I was involved in countless extra-curricular activities such as: Change Engineering Program, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the Public Relations Officer for the Class of 2017, and many more! I actually just competed in the NATIONAL Leadership Conference for FBLA, in Anaheim, Ca, where I was the only representative from Maryland in Client Service! (I am also 1st in the region & the state!) I was greatly impactful in my community through various community service activities as well! (Polar Bear Plunge, Lighthouse Shelter, Food Bank, testified FOR the Good Samaritan Law, etc.) I currently am pursuing a BS Degree in International Business/Management at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Athletics: I played Lacrosse (4 years Varsity), Basketball (3 years Varsity) and became a nationally ranked gymnast prior to high school. I now play for VCU's Division I Women's Lacrosse Team!! Employment: I just finished an Internship with Legacy Financial Group (LFG) this past year and work part-time at Bath and Body Works! I work weekly, however I am finding as many opportunities as I can to not only build a foundation for myself, as I am 100% responsible for my college tuition, but I aim at also getting my name out there. I love to network and meet new individuals that work in different fields with various goals in mind. I take time in learning from those I encounter and use the tools I am taught for my future and additions to my skillsets. I plan to major in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. I often babysit and do house chores for my neighbors. Most times, I can be found babysitting an 18-month old for a day/night or a 5-year old and his friends (older/younger) while parents have a good time! While doing so, I am sure to intensely care and entertain them until it's storytime/bedtime. Once they are tucked in, I always am sure to clean up any messes made in our playful endeavors as well as anything else I find to help keep the house spotless (dishes, sweeping, etc.).
