These are a Few of My Favorite Things

Waking up to a bright, sunny day today, albeit still nippy, has prompted these musings.
They are totally random thoughts, but make me happy.
- a red door on a stone house
- laughing with friends
- a canola field when the sun is out
- anything chocolate
- children skipping
- large paperclips
- hugs
- the warm feeling of sun on my face
- a feeling of accomplishment
- clean sheets off the clothesline
- the loving look in my dog's eyes
I know this topic was more eloquently expressed and put to music in 'The Sound of Music" many years ago, but I really think they had the right idea.
Sometimes it is just the smallest thing that can bring a smile to our face, to change our mood. What are those things that delight you most?
