Sitter in New York, New York

Hi! I'm Amanda. I recently moved to New York from Roanoke, VA. I moved up here for a 9-5 job working in advertising, and I'm loving the city so far! I've been searching for a part time job to help me out in terms of finances, and knew baby sitting would be the best fit for me. I'm one of 4 kids, and have an extremely large extended family (27 cousins!). I'm a very family-oriented person and have spent a great deal of time with my younger cousins growing up. My uncle who has 4 children recently told me that I'd be a great teacher because I'm so good with his kids. I also volunteered at an elementary school during my 4 years at Virginia Tech. Once a week I would visit the preschool classroom to read, play games, and bring the kids snacks. I was able to experience and work with all different types of children, and have learned how important patience is. I have no doubt that I'd be a great sitter for your kids. I'm an active, healthy person looking for a great family to get to know. And, of course, a little preparation for when I have my own kids couldn't hurt! I'm also a huge dog-lover so if you happen to have one, even better :)
