She started as Lynn’s assistant childcare provider and then branched out to run her own daycare. Helen has an overabundance of experience due to having raised a large family of 5 children at one point while simultaneously running her own daycare. Helen enjoys raising her 2 children who are both under the age of 10. Having vast experience with her involvement with children of all ages, Helen is equipped with a sound understanding of early learning and child development. Prior to Helen joining Lynn, she worked in numerous administrative positions over 12 plus years. Helen has a Law Clerk degree and has also worked with many legal and accounting firms throughout her career. Helen brings along with her a sense of creativity that comes in handy with her arts and crafts time. She has excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a warm, caring and sensitive personality, which all proves her to be a very valuable asset when running a daycare. Lynn Watkins - Bio Lynn is co-founder of H & L DAYCARE. She has been providing her services since 2002. Lynn has 2 teenage children, who have provided her with ample experience throughout the years. H & L DAYCARE originally operated out of Lynn’s family home but now operates out of both Helen and Lynn’s family home. Having her business of childcare run out of her home over the years has enhanced her ability to combine both family and work life in a proficient and organized manner. Prior to Lynn opening her daycare dream, she spent 15 years in the chaotic transportation and distribution industry. Lynn’s excellent interpersonal skills were carried over from her past career experiences to her now very successful daycare services. Lynn’s remarkable ability to raise and care for children in a nurturing manner has gained numerous parents praise. Children of all ages are drawn to her compassion and loving nature. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Testimonials: I searched and interviewed at least 20 home daycare's before I met Helen and Lynn. Instantly, I knew it was the right choice for us. They made the transition for my daughter so smooth. In the years that they cared for my daughter I never had any issues. Helen always put me at ease by sending me pictures of my daughter and videos to my cell. My daughter always looked forward to going to daycare and seeing Aunty Helen and Aunty Lynn. Even when my daughter was sick they were so accommodating. They would give her a bath if she threw up, washed the kids clothes, etc. always going above and beyond. My daughter learned so much while in their care. We were so amazed at how well behaved the kids were and all the activities they do to keep the kids engaged and challenged. We are so sad to have had to remove her and if we hadn't had moved we would have kept our daughter in their care until she started school.
