Hello I am Laura Driskell. I am a senior at University of Kentucky in the Elementary Education. This semester was I did my practicum placement in a 5th grade classroom at Veterans Park Elementary, where I interned for 5 weeks teaching, planning and tutoring students alongside lead teacher. I have also worked with 1st graders and 3rd graders at Ashland Elementary is previous semesters. Last summer I worked for KinderCare where I lead a 2 year old room in the afternoons, with 1:8 average ratio. Also at KinderCare I worked with all ages groups from infant to school agers various times in the morning, so I became comfortable with all age groups. I have babysit since I was 16 mostly with family members children but also tutoring throughout college in variety of locations such as at Ashland Elementary afterschool program. I am looking for a caring family, who needs a pair of extra hands at home. I am able to clean, cook and organize your home as well as take care of any animals. I have a CARE..... profile that has a background check available. Requirements for student teaching also have restrictions on any criminal background, since I am excepted in the program one can tell I do not have a criminal background. Also, clean driving record.
