My experience with childcare goes back over 10 years when I first started caring for my younger sister. For 3 years my duties included but were not limited to, baby proofing, feeding, tummy time, bottle/meal prepping, diaper changing, potty training, teaching numbers/letters etc. Between that time and today, my passion for children has grown exponentially. I moved to the Portland area not too long ago and I am looking to work with a limited number of families to give their child (children) the attentive and responsible care that they deserve. Recently, I have had the privilege of working with a 2-year-old. Some of the activities we enjoy doing together are arts & crafts, making puzzles, practicing flash cards, reading books, singing songs and teaching good matters. I absolutely love teaching her new words and watching her grow. On my free time, I read about early childhood education and also about children development. I one day would love to be an elementary school teacher.
