I graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelors of Science degree this past June and I am currently pursuing further education at the UW School of Public Health. I majored in biochemistry and completed multiple co-op placements for groups such as UW Health Services and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. I have also volunteered for organizations such as the Canadian National Institute for the Blind and Let's Talk Science. I was an instructor for the Let's Talk Science Waterloo chapter and I traveled to different schools to teach essential science concepts to students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. This opportunity allowed for me to interact extensively with children and discover the tricks to engaging young children in learning. In my free time, I like to stay active with activities such as hiking, powerlifting and rock climbing. In addition, I am a huge dog-lover and volunteer at the KW Humane Society in my free time. I always work with a courteous and kind demeanor that would make children comfortable. Due to my flexible work schedule, I am highly interested in childcare opportunities to facilitate student loan payments as well as my future goal in pursuing further education in paramedicine.
