My name is Hailey Briggs and I am a 20 year old University of Waterloo Student. I have nannying experience for 2 separate families, both times caring for 2 children at one time ranging from ages 6 months - 3 years old. I also have experience babysitting for several different families on top of this. I have also worked at a rock climbing gym for almost 4 years now where I have held multiple positions as Summer Camp Coordinator, Youth Team Assistant Coach, Climbing Party Instructor and Desk Staff. These duties included being responsible for the safety of children ages 3 , organizing and running activities for the children, working closely with children to enhance their rock climbing experience, running birthday party events for kids and more. In addition to this I have a 4 year old sister that I have babysat and helped care for since her birth, providing me with extensive experience caring for young infants; feeding, putting to sleep, changing diapers and all! Aside from my childcare experience I have volunteered overseas in Kenya, India and Ecuador, spending time with the local children as we built them a school, and have received the Governor General's Caring Canadian Award and the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers. Overall, I have found childcare an incredibly rewarding experience and am hoping to continue in this field. I am currently on my summer, so am pretty available now, but will be leaving the country as of July 21 for a month. Please send me a message if you are interested!
