Hello, I am a seventeen year old male who hopes to be able to help out not only parents by watching their children for them in a responsible and mature environment but also assist those with a mental disability to have someone they can interact with and develop a friendship with. Socially many of these children are uncapable of developing true friendships and often times this leads to fustration and further social anxiety, I would like to be able to help your child out by being there for them and being someone they can interact with and vent their feelings with. I am working on learning PECS and learning new ways to interact with those who may not be able to socialize through traditional ways. I will try my hardest to make your child feel comfortable whether it be in your home or whatever. For example my autistic friend Alex loves going for car rides as he is able to release his fustrations by going for long car rides and he can vent how he feels to me.
