I have worked as a cashier, customer service in person and telephone, Customer Service Manager or Front end manager. I have worked at Columbia House as a mail sorter, in bank deposit's - processing and batching payments to be sent to banks and also customer service for their video club in written correspondence and in their telephone Center. I was trained and worked as a lab technician at Walmart Vision cutting lenses for frames, adjusting and cleaning. Also trained to be Optician, so I not only helped customers pick out that perfect frame for their face, I taught patients how to wear contacts and take care of them and prescreened patients before they saw the doctor. I have also been that person that answers the phone, makes appointments or cancels and reschedule appointment's. I have called other doctors to set up referrals from the Optometrist if something is more serious. I verified Insurance for patients appointments, taken care of patients paperwork and entered it into computer system or keep paper files. I have opened and closed office's. I have taken care of payments, cash, check or credit cards. I have ran reports. I have stocked shelves and placed orders for more stock. I have used fax machine, scanner and copier. I have kept offices cleaned and organized and made many reminder calls or to let patients know their product is ready to be picked up. I have sent emails and copied paper files into the computer to go paperless. I do have a family. Three teens still at home. Have raised 5 kids and 2 Grandkids. I have also babysat many children but the last was a 4 wk old up until almost 3 when they moved to a town to far away for me to get to.
