I have always been around small children, and have always played a role in caring for children as well. I myself have a three year old, and a five month old. I am a stay at home mother, and military wife. I love caring for my children in my own environment in which I can control. I love and strive to provide an environment which is constantly, educationally stimulating. I believe children can learn something from what would seem as nothing to others, counting the steps we take, to the colors of the food we are eating at lunch time. As a child I was always surrounded by smaller children, I adored it. I began watching two smaller children when I was fourteen. I grew very close with these children and loved playing a role into shaping them into wise, educated, creative, and polite young adults. I also cared for a newborn for a month's time; unfortunately they were stationed elsewhere because of the military. I believe in doing things the way the child's parent would do, and how they expect it would be done. I believe parents should also feel like although they can't be with their children during the day, they should know exactly what is going on which is why I believe in making care logs.
