Sitter in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi there! I am a kind, creative, and responsible part-time university student living on lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ land (Victoria, BC) looking for a childcare job starting either at the end of May or the beginning of June, 2021 (start date negotiable). I have previously worked as a babysitter, camp counsellor, swimming instructor, and synchronized swimming coach with children and youth ages four to sixteen. I come equipped with a breadth of child care and activity experience, confidence in my childcare abilities, and a number of relevant certifications such as Red Cross standard first aid and CPR-C training (updated in January of 2021). I am happy to help with and enjoy light housekeeping, cooking and general food preparation, indoor and outdoor activities, and swim instructing/supervision. I have a bank of reliable and tasty recipes that I'm able to make, but am also comfortable cooking new dishes based on the wishes or needs of any family. I really value outdoor play, especially daily walks and trips to the park during every season. I am also equipped with lots of indoor activities such as arts and crafts, music time (I play the guitar), and more (again, based on the wishes and needs of the family!). I also have a class 5 driver's license, and a safe and reliable car (2021 Kia Soul) which I am comfortable using for childcare related activities (school drop off, after school activity drop-off, etc.).
