Want childcare personalized to YOUR child? How about your child be one of the first to enroll in a new family day care center? Hello! My name is Caitlin McDonald. Thank you for allowing me to have a moment of your time. My husband and I will soon be buying a home. With this purchase, we thought it would be the perfect time to realize a dream I have always had...opening an in home day care! A little about me. I have a BS degree from the University of Pittsburgh in early childhood education. Clean record. I have experience working with children from birth through school age. I am CPR, first aide and fire safety certified. I intend to go through Keystone Stars to take even more courses based on enrollment. My goal is to have our brand new program up and running by this upcoming school year. Being a new center, I wanted to build it from the ground floor based on the needs and interests of our prospective children. I will be buying materials in addition to ones I own after I get an idea of enrollment. After working in local centers, I have been able to see the need for flexibility for parents and for this reason hours of operation will be based upon needs of enrolled children. Pay will be due the week before care is given, but I am flexible for how much I will charge. My starting rate is 125$/week for 1 child and 200$/week for 2 children or 10$/hr for drop in time. This includes food/formula and activity materials. Let me know what you can afford! I want to work together to provide the best possible care for your child. Each week will have its own theme. Each month, you will receive a newsletter and a calendar from me with information on activities. I will be offering morning/afternoon snacks, lunch, dinner, arts & crafts, outdoor fun, story time and more! I aim to create an open fun learning environment in which children can explore and experiment. Open to birth to school age (if able to get on bus in Carbondale).
