OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic person to support our family part time on weekdays.
HOURS
Monday – Friday 3:20pm - 6:20pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tend to the basic needs of the children while providing supervision to ensure their safety.
- Meet them at the bus stop and walk them home.
- Prepare a snack
- Supervise homework, providing assistance if necessary.
- Engage them in age-appropriate activities—including outdoor free play, arts and crafts, games, and reading.
- Occasionally you may be asked to start a meal.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior childcare experience
- Police Vulnerable Sector Screening
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Some Post-Secondary (ECE courses preferred)
- French and experience with children with ADHD a Bonus
