Sitter in Toronto, Ontario

I am a retired librarian, mother and grandmother. I enjoy spending time with children of all ages. Their outlook on life, their commentaries on what they experience, the way they learn and their joy in just being alive inspire me. I have raised two children who are both successful in their chosen careers, and have helped to look after my grand-daughter who is now 9. I am very active and well read, do not watch television and love arts and crafts of all kinds, especially drawing, painting, jewellery making and needlecrafts. I am looking for occasional baby-sitting jobs preferably in or close to my neighbourhood. I have a car and a clean driving record. I would be happy to cook for the children, to read to and play with them and just generally hang out. And I speak French reasonably well, also Spanish. I also love dogs and cats and would be happy to walk one (the dog) or play with them, too. Housework really isn't my thing, however.
