Objective: A young women passionate to teach children, attending Central Maine Community College and then to transfer to the University of Maine Farmington to get a degree in teaching K-3. Education: Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School (OHCHS) South Paris, ME Graduated June 10, 2017 Oxford Hills Technical School (OHTS) South Paris, ME Early Childhood Education Work Experience: July 2016- November 2017 Mallard Mart Norway, ME Customer Service, Food Prep, Cashier Cashed out customers, made pizzas, sandwiches, fried foods, cleaned floors, and counters as well as heavy lifting in the cooler stocking shelves. Learned to multitask exponentially. Practicum Experience: Early Childhood Education year 1, Pre-school Lab, Oxford Hills Technical School, 2014-15 Learned the responsibility of watching over a classroom, running circle, running a small group activity with up to four kids by myself. Early Childhood Education year 2, Pre-school Lab, Oxford Hills technical School, 2015-16 Interned in child care facilities around the community. Early Childhood Education Internship, Guy E Rowe School, 2016 Assisted Speech Therapy teacher with copying, printing, laminating, and working with some of the speech therapy students, also assisting in the special needs classroom and working one on one with a few disabled children. Running the writing group, helping with buddy study (spelling words), watching over the class when the teacher needed to step out, walking the students to their specials (gym, library etc), running circle/group time, recess and lunch duty, and even a field trip volunteer to the gray animal farm.
