Hello! My name is Kayla and I am seeking a family looking for a young and energetic full time nanny. I have extensive experience within day care facilities in addition to a few years as a personal nanny for twin toddlers. Along with my CPR and First Aid Certifications, I have also acquired multiple ECE certifications from classes taken during my daycare days. Currently I am providing care for two little girls, 11 months and 20 months as I seek a full time family. I am also setting up a class schedule, both online and on campus at Wilmington University, to hopefully finish the required credits for my ECE degree in the fall. The schedules are flexible so I will have no problem accommodating both your needs and mine! I like to keep our days filled with structure, as I don’t do well sitting still for long periods of time. Children thrive off being engaged in safe, entertaining and educational activities. I enjoy arts and crafts, cooking projects, games and songs. I also enjoy taking trips to zoos, aquariums and museums. As a nanny I also become very active in children’s groups at Longwood Gardens as well as our local libraries. Along with teaching basic English skills, I also take it a step further teaching colors, shapes, letters and numbers, key phrases etc. in Spanish and ASL sign language.
