Hello - I come from a background of freelance writing but my writing and advertising career has always been interspersed with wonderful experiences related to education and child care. I have been a Montessori Teaching Assistant for ages 2-3 and 3-5, a substitute teacher for two years, and a church youth sponsor (teens) for 7 years. So it's not surprising, now that I'd like to balance my writing time with a meaningful part-time position, that I'm led back to working with youth. I have two grown boys of my own and have always treasured their own active natures and the individuality that made them shine. The best part of working with kids is working to truly see and appreciate who they are individually and celebrate that.
